Position Overview

The Mixology Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering exceptional guest relationships and ensuring operational excellence at a TABACALERA USA Inc. location, collaborating with a team dedicated to achieving outstanding results.

Core Responsibilities
  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience in the bar, dining area, smoking lounges, and overall venue through exceptional service and sales techniques. Act as a brand ambassador for TABACALERA USA Inc.
  • Establish rapport with patrons. Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and promotional offerings.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to achieving results. Be accountable for becoming a trusted expert in the bar and consistently collaborate with the team to surpass sales and performance targets.
  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of TABACALERA USA Inc. products.
  • Assist in the overall operations of the establishment, including precise pouring, inventory management, and product upkeep.
  • Execute corporate initiatives efficiently and resourcefully.
  • Adhere to all TABACALERA USA Inc. policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as state and local regulations.
  • Uphold visual and cleanliness standards to reinforce the brand image, ensuring a comfortable, responsible, and safe environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in bartending is essential.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and/or computer skills is required.
  • Knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails is necessary. Bartender certification is a plus (or required if applicable).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • A hands-on team player with a strong work ethic.

Work Environment/Conditions:

While performing the duties of this position, employees may be regularly exposed to smoke or airborne particles. Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions may occur. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this role, employees are regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. Frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or sitting may be required, and employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include the ability to adjust focus.
