Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Knute Nelson. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 64-80 hours per pay period, Monday-Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating clients, developing treatment plans, and providing quality care that assists clients to meet their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate clients and obtain and interpret subjective and objective data.
  • Develop treatment plans and programs, including short-term and long-term goals, in accordance with physician orders.
  • Provide quality care that assists clients to meet their goals and complete re-evaluations per requirements.
  • Document collaboration with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) per regulations.
  • Perform supervisory visits for Home Health Aides (HHAs) per regulations.
Requirements:
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Minnesota.
  • Obtain CPR certification within 6 months from date of hire.
  • Valid driver's license and use of an insured personal vehicle.
  • Complete and pass a state required background study.
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing to the extent required by the position.
  • Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
