About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our bar and restaurant, Libertee Grounds, in Philadelphia, PA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing revenue, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective operational systems to enhance efficiency, revenue, and quality of food and beverage
  • Manage and train FOH employees, including mentoring, policy adherence, and talent development
  • Create and maintain a positive and safe work environment, upholding high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Assist in managing all FOH employees, including scheduling, payroll, and staff management of over 20 employees
Requirements
  • 2+ years of management experience in an independent upscale casual restaurant or bar
  • Proven track record in ordering and receiving, inventory management, P&L management, staff training, and motivation
  • Food safety knowledge, with RAMP and ServSafe certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on employee development and retention
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a positive and exemplary attitude
