Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Staffworks. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of component inventory and supporting the flow of materials for outside processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify materials delivered against shipment packing lists and identify any discrepancies.
  • Input and maintain accurate transactions in SAP.
  • Locate received materials in the warehouse as required.
  • Pick and put assembly orders together as needed to support the production plan.
  • Fulfill in-house requisitions and deliver materials to proper areas.
  • Keep accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and complete scrap transactions and goods movements.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, adhering to company rules and safety regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of relatable warehouse or receiving experience.
  • Forklift license and OSHA Certification a plus/ Ability to obtain a PPC forklift license.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • General data entry and computer skills with the ability to input information, process transactions, and verify data for accuracy.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to follow and execute detailed processes/directions.
  • Basic mechanical ability and knowledge of machine operation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a culturally diverse workplace.
