Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credentialing Coordinator III to join our team at The University of Rochester. This role is responsible for ensuring quality in conducting, maintaining, and communicating the medical and allied health professional staff credentialing, privileging, and primary source verification process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in departmental activities to ensure quality in credentialing, privileging, and primary source verification.
  • Serve as a resource for the Credentialing, Coordinator, Staff, Healthcare, Medical, Business Services, and Application teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely credentialing and privileging processes.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to credentialing and privileging.
  • Provide training and support to staff on credentialing and privileging processes.
Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of medical staff credentialing and privileging processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
