Position Summary

TATES INC is in search of a skilled Sous Chef to enhance our culinary team. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to design creative menus and prepare exquisite dishes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop creative menus based on seasonal ingredient availability and customer preferences
  • Prepare and present dishes according to kitchen standards
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations to optimize revenue and profitability
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of food preparation and presentation
  • Provide training and guidance to kitchen personnel
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients at competitive prices
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Significant prior culinary experience
  • Culinary school certification is preferred
  • ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification
  • Advanced understanding of culinary techniques and recipes
  • Ability to remain composed and excel under pressure
  • Strong management and leadership capabilities
