Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer specifications and determine the most effective power converter configurations
- Create control algorithms utilizing MATLAB/Simulink and similar platforms
- Work in tandem with software teams to deploy control algorithms onto digital processors
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control algorithms for power electronic devices
- Perform validation testing and assist clients in resolving technical issues
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract stipulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in the development of control systems for power electronic applications
- Expertise in motor and power electronic circuit analysis
- Practical experience in embedded programming and FPGA design
- Capability to interpret schematics and PCB layouts
