Automotive Customer Service Associate - Mazda Lakeland

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with customers post-service to assess their experience
  • Facilitate customer interactions during their visit for service
  • Provide updates on customer status
  • Assist customers with loaner agreements during checkout
  • Support the checkout process
  • Transport customers as necessary
  • Provide assistance on the Service Drive when required
  • Calculate customer invoices
  • Process payments including cash, checks, and credit cards; accurately record transactions
  • Issue change and receipts to customers
  • Daily reconciliation of cash drawer
  • Address customer inquiries regarding services rendered or products purchased, or direct them to the appropriate personnel
  • Handle customer complaints with professionalism and, when needed, escalate issues to the relevant parties for resolution
  • Offer clerical and administrative support to various departments as needed
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Keep the workspace organized and tidy
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in computer usage, capable of managing multiple applications simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is advantageous
  • Ability to learn and navigate various software programs
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Successful completion of background screening

Supervisory Role:

  • No supervisory responsibilities
