We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Manager to join our team at Yoshinoya. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing shifts when the General Manager is unavailable, ensuring that company policies and procedures are followed, and troubleshooting any problems that may arise. You will also be trained to work in the kitchen and as a cashier, allowing you to train and work various positions during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during shifts
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed
  • Train and develop staff members to improve performance and productivity
  • Manage inventory and supplies to maintain optimal levels
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quick service restaurant with at least 6 months in a lead or supervisory position
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Basic competency in supervising others
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
