Job Summary

The Martial Arts Instructor will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

The Martial Arts Instructor will be responsible for the following:

  • Teaching martial arts classes to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans that meet the needs of our students
  • Providing feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times
  • Working collaboratively with other instructors and staff to achieve our mission
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in martial arts instruction
Requirements

To be successful as a Martial Arts Instructor at Impact Kids, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching martial arts to students of all ages and skill levels
  • A black belt or equivalent in a martial art such as karate, taekwondo, or kickboxing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other instructors and staff
  • Ability to provide feedback and guidance to students
  • Ability to ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A teaching certification or equivalent
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working with children and adults with special needs
  • Experience teaching martial arts to students with varying skill levels
