Mechanical Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and innovative engineer to join our team, focusing on the development, maintenance, and operation of our CO2 capture and liquefaction systems. This role requires a solid foundation in engineering principles, with specialized expertise in CO2 processes, system optimization, and troubleshooting. As a Mechanical Systems Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our team of experts to enhance system performance, address technical challenges, and help shape advancements in environmental technology and engineering within the CO2 capture industry.
Your responsibilities will include system design and development, process optimization, maintenance and troubleshooting, quality assurance and testing, project management, documentation and reporting, client and partner interaction, and innovation and improvement. You will work with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure successful project execution. Additionally, you will engage with clients and partners to address technical inquiries, provide guidance, and support system integration and operational troubleshooting.
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, in-depth knowledge of CO2 processes, control systems, and system optimization, proficiency in engineering tools and software for design, analysis, and system diagnostics, strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to travel as required for project needs.
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year.
