**Role Overview:**

  • **Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams**: Work closely with marketing, design, and verification teams to develop plans for characterizing MCU electrical properties and power consumption.
  • **Contribute to FPGA Hardware Design**: Develop customized FPGA functions to support automated testing and debugging of MCU hardware.
  • **Develop Software Applications**: Create software applications to aid in the design and testing of MCU hardware.
  • **Lead and Guide Engineering Team Members**: Provide technical expertise and lead engineering team members in the development of MCU validation tools and methodologies.
  • **Design Tools for Validation and Characterization**: Develop tools for validation and characterization test data logging and analysis.
  • **Create Board Hardware and Specify Test Equipment**: Design board hardware and specify test equipment for MCU product characterization.

**Requirements:**

  • **Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering**: A minimum of 7 years' experience in software development for MCU silicon validation.
  • **Proficiency in FPGA Design and Verilog Software Development**: Experience with Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs.
  • **Skilled in Developing Software Algorithms**: Proficient in writing test scripts in Tcl, Perl, and Python, and coding in C/C++ for embedded systems.
  • **Familiarity with Embedded Software IDEs**: Experience with Keil, IAR, Eclipse, and OpenOCD.
  • **Hands-on Experience with Digital and Analog Test Equipment**: Familiarity with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • **Experience in Configuring Mixed-Signal SOC Power States**: Development of power management firmware.
  • **Proficient in Data Logging, Analysis, and Report-Generation Tools**: Expertise in ARM-based microcontrollers and related interfaces (I2C, SPI, I2S, PDM, UART).
