Senior Quantitative Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our dynamic team at Consultative Search Group. As a key member of our Corporate Department, you will leverage your expertise in financial modeling and transactional analysis to support our leadership in leading practice groups, including Emerging Companies, Capital Markets, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop client-facing capitalization models for M&A transactions, SPAC, deSPAC, and early stage/venture capital financing engagements.
  • Work closely with Corporate departmental leadership and attorneys to update models as the terms of the deal progress.
  • Prepare financial models, including pro-forma capitalizations, liquidation waterfalls, merger consideration spreadsheets, voting models, and IPO S-1 models.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, as well as mentor and train our team of analysts and associates.
  • Engage with attorney deal teams on transactions, critically reading agreements and providing financial modeling support.
  • Advising the internal deal team using the knowledge gained from analysis, and answering any questions regarding data, analytical methods, and assumptions.
  • Producing client-ready financial models and effectively communicating analysis and work product to partners, associates, and external clients.
  • Maintaining detailed records documenting procedures, methodologies, and sources of information used while performing analytical tasks.
  • Participating in education classes for our attorneys related to quantitative analysis work.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • A financial/industry qualification (CFA) or a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) is ideal.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of related analytical experience at a professional services organization in corporate finance, consulting, or M&A, as well as experience working on ad-hoc requests and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
