Quantitative Analyst Role

Citigroup Inc is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join its Markets Quantitative Analysis team in New York City. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex models to analyze and price risk on RMBS and CMBS securities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement models using C++, Python, and SQL to analyze and price risk on RMBS and CMBS securities.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to inform trading and risk management decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and trading desks to develop and improve complex models, and provide data analysis and trade ideas.
  • Develop web applications to allow traders to access underlying mortgage data and perform different types of analysis.
  • Work with various groups, including internal risk management, technology, and model validation, to ensure highest quality of indicative data.
  • Monitor market activity and provide traders with updated market news and potential impact on collateral performance and market pricing.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a Quantitative field of study.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • High attention to detail and good communication skills.
