Job Title: Technical Product Manager

SS&C Technologies is a global leader in investment and financial services software. We're seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to join our team and drive the development of our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute product strategy, messaging, and launch plans to support the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Analyze market opportunity, anticipate industry direction, and evaluate the feasibility and financial justification for new products and/or new releases of existing products.
  • Define target prospects and assist sales in lead generation.
  • Oversee the product life cycle from conception through retirement, working closely with functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Possess knowledge of overall product development processes and marketing strategy, with analysis/project management mindsets to thrive in a demanding environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimally requires a Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or high school degree and 4 years of related experience.
  • Strong understanding of customers' needs, the competitive environment, and market forces required to launch a successful product solution.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders to refine product requirements, prioritize features, define success criteria, and help shape the roadmap.
  • Understanding of technical trends, competitors, and emerging trends to measure their potential value or threat to the portfolio.
