Microbiology Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our team at netPolarity, Inc. (Saicon Consultants, Inc.).
Key Responsibilities- Perform microbial testing of finished goods, bulk, and raw materials for compliance to USP microbial enumeration and USP specified microorganisms following rapid microbial testing methods.
- Accurately document testing information and results in real time.
- Support bulk and raw material sampling, testing, and release as needed.
- Review test data and perform release transaction in SAP.
- Demonstrate ability to support production lines by answering quality-related questions and ensuring that the department is meeting the required quality standards.
- Document and provide support for investigations pertaining to quality issues requiring resolution.
- Prepare and sterility test media for raw material testing use.
- Review COC (Chain of Custody) and Line Clearance forms prior to distributing the finished goods samples for testing.
- Assist in all laboratory cleaning processes and communicate testing supplies inventory needs.
- Create, revise, and/or review procedures (SOPs, Job Aids, and One Point Lessons) as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively within all levels of the organization, from the shop floor to upper management, and will be able to work independently and also within a team environment.
The candidate will be required to lift up to 40 pounds, stand and walk for several hours a day, stoop, kneel, and squat periodically while inspecting or sampling, and work in a heavy manufacturing environment where they are subject to loud noise and hot and cold temperatures.
The candidate will also be required to follow company safety and good manufacturing practice regulations and procedures.
