Job Title: Dishwasher/Porter

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Porter to join our team at Boujis Hospitality. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our dishwashing area.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Load and operate the dishwashing machines efficiently, ensuring all dishes are cleaned to the highest standards.

2. Hand wash pots, pans, and other items, adhering to strict sanitation and cleanliness protocols.

3. Maintain the dish cleaning area and floor, ensuring they are clean and free from debris.

4. Empty all trash in the kitchen area and employee cafeteria, separating recyclable items into proper containers.

5. Correctly place soiled dishes on racks in the dish cleaning machine, separating silverware for cleaning.

6. Stack clean dishes in proper storage areas, ensuring they are inverted and stored correctly.

7. Ensure the pot sink area is clean and free from debris, storing pots in their designated areas.

8. Use chemicals in designated areas and concentrations, adhering to all applicable health standards.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Ability to read and understand schedules, MSDS, and complete forms.

3. Safety-oriented mindset.

4. Ability to operate a dishwashing machine and floor machines.

5. Physical ability to lift up to 35lbs.

6. Fluency in English, with the ability to interact with guests and coworkers.

7. Written communication skills, including standard forms.

8. Ability to work in extreme temperatures (0-110 degrees) and noise levels.

9. Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

10. Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
