Position Overview
Provide leadership to technical and office personnel throughout the project management lifecycle while collaborating closely with the CEO to ensure alignment with client deliverables. The daily responsibilities of the Project Manager encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as the intermediary between the client and the CEO
  • Develop proposals and budgets for various projects
  • Create project drawings, plans, and specifications (Senior Project Manager)
  • Draft final reports for completed projects
  • Conduct revenue forecasting (Senior Project Manager)
  • Participate in meetings with potential and existing clients and perform site surveys
  • Initiate new projects and quotes in WorkflowMax
  • Establish project files in various office software systems
  • Log projects onto Excel tracking sheets and electronic files
  • Oversee project budgets (Senior Project Manager)
  • Manage 'Work in Progress' (WIP) in WorkflowMax
  • Handle billing and collection of aging receivables over 30 days
  • Train new field technicians
  • Review and approve field technician time entries (Senior Project Manager)
  • Ensure quality of work from field technicians (Senior Project Manager)
  • Conduct quarterly and annual reviews for field technicians (Senior Project Manager)
  • Engage with various laboratory personnel
  • Monitor field equipment and supplies to ensure optimal functionality and availability

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) with CDPH certification or Professional Geologist (PG)
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated project management experience in a related field such as hazardous material abatement, construction management, geology, or architecture
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel (may include overnight stays)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Maintain technical certifications in accordance with industry standards
  • Participate in required technical training per industry standards
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Experience with a client base in soil testing or a book of soil clients
