Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated candidate who embodies a sense of ownership to take on the role of a Lab Assistant Intern.

Location:
This internship will be based in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct laboratory analyses and experiments to assist in research and development initiatives.
  • Prepare samples and execute routine experiments while processing data under guidance.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of safety protocols and housekeeping standards in daily operations.
  • Familiarize oneself with laboratory procedures and best practices.
  • Keep a meticulously documented laboratory notebook, ensuring it is co-signed within the designated timeframe.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress.
  • Document and report any unexpected variations in test outcomes.
  • Provide comprehensive data analysis summaries, utilizing design of experiments (DOE) and statistical methods as necessary.

Qualifications:
Candidate should be at least in their second year of college, pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and prior lab research experience is advantageous.
