**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an accomplished Executive Culinary Leader to oversee the culinary operations at The Club at Longview. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of food production, staff supervision, and maintaining exceptional standards of quality and presentation.

The Club at Longview is a premier golf club community that boasts over 1,000 acres of rolling hills, creeks, ponds, and nature preserves. Our property's rich history dates back to the 1800s, and we take pride in our old-world charm and architecture. With a strong focus on excellence and quality, we continue to evolve and improve with the support of our team members.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Culinary Operations: Oversee all activities in the kitchen, including food preparation, production, and management of kitchen staff. Ensure efficient operation and profitability of food production.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal operating condition.
  • Quality Standards: Maintain adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with specifications.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking, and food rotation, ensuring compliance with food service sanitation standards.

 

Requirements:
  • Education: High school or GED equivalent required; formal culinary training or associate degree in culinary arts preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-5 years of cooking experience in a fine dining environment and experience in a culinary leadership role preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room employees, and guests.
  • Certification: Safe Food Handling Certification.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to bend, stand, and stoop for long periods and work in hot conditions.
  • Maintaining Financial Records: Calculate figures and amounts, performing mathematical functions to meet business needs.

 

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and industry standards. We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for career growth and development.
