AdventHealth Redmond is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and cat scan procedures on in-patients and outpatients, maintaining competency in radiology and cat scan procedures, and operating all radiographic diagnostic equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all types of radiographic and cat scan procedures on in-patients and outpatients.
- Maintain competency in radiology and cat scan procedures performed on in-patients, outpatients, as well as emergency and operating room patients.
- Operate all radiographic diagnostic equipment, including c-arm equipment.
- Perform routine diagnostic and portable exams when needed.
- Operate all cat scan equipment, transport patients, process film, and prepare radiographic rooms with supplies and medications as needed.
- Review orders and review films for correct identification before submitting for a radiologists interpretation.
- Assist with clerical duties as needed.
- Participate in radiology and cat scan QI or Quality Improvement program.
- Certification from an accredited school or program in radiologic technology.
- Successful graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology at a minimum.
- National certification by the ARRT.
- A minimum of 12 hours of in-service or continuing education per year, as well as any additional hours needed to develop the core objectives and goals listed in this job description.
