Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate complex programs and courses, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience for students.
  • Prepare assessment materials, coordinate examinations, and evaluation tools, as well as schedule classes and faculty assignments.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of training equipment and materials for classes, ensuring that all necessary resources are available.
  • Implement customer-centered service improvements, facilitating the curriculum according to published instructor and student guides.
  • Incorporate evidence-based research into educational plans and nursing practice, staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
  • Participate in the process to identify candidates to attend educational sessions and coordinate the scheduling of these sessions between participants, instructors, and leadership.
  • Develop and maintain educational materials, ensuring that they meet the needs of participants and departmental requirements.
  • Coordinate and evaluate instructors on an ongoing basis, ensuring that they meet external standards and maintain policy updates and course material as necessary.
Requirements:
  • NYS Emergency Medical Technician Certification, required; NYS Paramedic Certification highly preferred.
  • Associate's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 1 year of relevant experience required.
