Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Butler Medical Transport. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our field teams, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage field operations teams to ensure daily operations are conducted in a manner that provides excellent customer service and follows all safety procedures and policies.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements and regulatory/licensing agencies.
  • Ensure team members have all necessary equipment, resources, licensing/credentials, and training to complete patient care and assigned transports in a proper and efficient manner.
  • Conduct daily and bi-weekly meetings with management team to discuss operational issues and implement solutions.
  • Investigate and determine the root cause of vehicle accidents, employee injuries, or other liability concerns to reduce and eliminate hazardous work conditions and reduce total company liabilities.
  • Provide additional operational EMS coverage as needed in times of high demand or low coverage.
  • Participate in the review and facilitation of missing PCR lists to ensure completion and submission within 48 hours.
  • Serve as the Point of Contact for Dispatch for any and all crew concerns.
  • Review and remediate late punches, and initiate progressive disciplinary process as necessary.
  • Evaluate the need for supplies and contact the Director of Logistics to request refills.
  • Complete Employee FIT Tests and serve as a Field Training Officer to new employees.
  • Serve as a liaison to facilities and be available for immediate call back in times of extreme weather or local disaster.
Requirements
  • Maintain a current MD EMT Basic Card or higher.
  • Ability to obtain or possess a current DC EMT Basic Card or higher within 6 months of hire.
  • Possess a current AHA CPR Card.
  • Will be at least 19 years of age.
  • Possess a current driver's license.
  • Have an acceptable driving record as determined by the company's insurance carrier.
  • Maintain the ability to drive company vehicles.
  • Ability to pass lift test of ~ lbs.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen, and all subsequent random or for cause drug screening.
  • Will be available for recall in times of crisis.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule with open availability.
