Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a women's health outpatient setting. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct telephone triage and provide education to patients and their families.
  • Participate in revenue cycle management, ensuring authorizations and referrals are in place.
  • Document accurate CPT and ICD-10 codes for services provided.
  • Clean, stock, and prepare examination rooms to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications
  • LPN state license required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a women's health outpatient setting preferred.
  • Maintain CPR certification.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
