Role Responsibilities
As a Lead Financial Analyst - Client and Matter Oversight, your primary focus will be to provide financial and analytical project management support for the firm and its legal professionals. You will collaborate closely with the firm's Executive Leadership and Finance Managers on various initiatives that demand advanced analytical and critical-thinking capabilities.

Key Duties Include:

  • Collaborating within a team to execute ad-hoc financial analyses, generate reports, and undertake special projects related to project and matter oversight.
  • Employing analytical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of business, economics, finance, and accounting to fulfill complex and routine requests, including client budgets and overall financial performance.
  • Utilizing advanced financial systems and reporting tools to extract data, organize information, and create reports regarding client project performance for management and legal teams.
  • Providing training, guidance, and mentorship to junior analysts, supporting their professional growth.
  • Partnering with management and team leads to coordinate work activities, workflows, and daily operations.
  • Instructing analysts in conducting analyses and reporting tasks as required.
  • Overseeing administrative responsibilities related to process efficiency, documentation, data entry, cross-training, and project tracking.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant analytical experience in finance, accounting, or project management, including responding to ad-hoc requests, developing analyses, and producing reports.
  • Previous experience in managing costs, fees, and budgets, along with a background in a client-focused role is preferred.
