Job Title: Medical Information Scientific Engagement Manager

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Medical Information Scientific Engagement Manager to join our team in Titusville, NJ. As a Medical Information Scientific Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for engaging healthcare professionals and other customers in rich scientific dialogue and developing customer materials for use in response to unsolicited medical information requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and maintenance of scientific content for patients for assigned therapeutic area products including patient content for established products.
  • Conduct peer review of patient scientific responses for products within assigned therapeutic area.
  • Collaborate with Med Info CSI-Digital to help shape and review the Innovative Content formats for patient responses.
  • Ensure high quality personalized, cross-portfolio scientific engagement with all customers to demonstrate the product and disease area expertise.
  • Provides timely, accurate, thorough, and balanced scientific responses to unsolicited requests for information from internal and external customers consistent with regulatory guidelines.
  • Documents interactions in Customer Relation Management (CRM) database.
  • Conducts literature analysis to respond to unsolicited, off-label inquiries as needed or escalates the inquiry to Manager, MISE.
  • Complaint Reporting: Identifies captures and processes adverse events and product quality complaints following regulatory and company policies.
  • Ensure highest standards of quality and compliance. Responsible for quality assurance (QA) of team. Ensure high level, robust medical information provided is accurate and consistent.
Requirements:
  • BS in Pharmacy or related field required.
  • Advanced Degree (e.g. PharmD, PhD, etc) preferred.
  • Drug Information or clinical residency/fellowship preferred
  • A minimum of 2+ years of Medical Information or strong clinical practice experience required
  • Medical writing experience and proven ability to conduct literature analysis required
  • Experience developing responses to scientific inquiries from healthcare professionals and/or consumers required
  • Demonstrated ability to verbally communicate scientific information to healthcare professionals
  • Experience building on existing clinical foundation in pursuit of expertise in relevant therapeutic area
  • Experience managing complexity and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners/teams
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group
Additional Information:

This position is in Titusville, NJ and may require up to 15% domestic travel for conference attendance and company meetings.

The base pay range for this position is $113,000 to $195,500. The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
