Job Summary

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Avera, you will perform complex in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and mobile outreach patients. This role involves working two days at a clinic or hospital setting and three days providing outreach services to various locations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine scans for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases and disease processes.
  • Work independently and as part of a cohesive team to achieve goals.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.
  • Iowa Permit to Practice license required within 60 days of employment.
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License required within 6 months of employment.
