Position Overview:

Soliant is looking for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a school environment, focusing on the assessment and treatment of students with communication challenges. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students achieve their academic and social potential.

Key Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Create and execute personalized therapy plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Deliver therapy services in both individual and group formats.
  • Engage with educators, families, and school personnel to facilitate student communication and learning objectives.
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, assisting in the formulation and assessment of specific student goals.
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Keep precise and current records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress updates.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active SLP license or certification in the relevant state.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
