Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Program Manager to join our team at Foundations Early Learning Center. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing and implementing curriculum and developmentally-appropriate practices in our classrooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and mentor teachers on curriculum, developmentally-appropriate practices, and quality-rating standards.
  • Ensure that classroom lesson plans are completed and implemented effectively.
  • Assist with the hiring and onboarding of new teachers.
  • Collaborate with the Center Director to provide feedback, assess needs, and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure that classrooms have adequate materials and resources.
  • Develop and track teacher professional development plans.
  • Complete classroom observations and growth plans as needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate semi-annual parent-teacher conferences.
  • Plan, coordinate, and assist in the execution of summer camp programs.
  • Ensure that all regulatory and company policies are observed in classrooms.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility.
  • Extensive knowledge of Creative Curriculum, developmentally-appropriate practices, Environmental Rating Scale, and developmental milestones as defined by the state's early learning goals.
  • Track record of successfully training and developing teaching staff, with the ability to evaluate teacher classroom performance.
  • Working knowledge of state rules and regulations governing the operation of childcare centers.
  • Meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions and maintain state in-service requirements.
  • Must have a NC qualifying letter.
