About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Operations Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products, while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Processing: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure timely and accurate processing of merchandise.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles, and provide coaching and feedback to ensure team productivity and efficiency.
  • Customer Experience: Engage and interact with customers to provide a positive and personalized shopping experience.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the backroom area, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and Associates to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor and to address priorities and progress updates.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Communication Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors as a team player.
  • Adaptability: Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Physical Demands: Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
