Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Activity Center Coordinator to join our team at Miami Beach Medical Group. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activities and programs for our patients, ensuring a high-quality experience and promoting a positive atmosphere within our Activity Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver a variety of recreational activities, including games, arts, crafts, music, and other events, to cater to the diverse needs and interests of our patients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients feel welcome, valued, and supported throughout their experience.
  • Collaborate with our administration and patient service representatives to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations and promoting a safe and healthy space for our patients.
  • Participate in our Patient Satisfaction Survey Program, providing valuable feedback to enhance our services and improve patient outcomes.
  • Organize and promote activity center events, coordinating with our supervisor to ensure successful execution and maximum patient participation.
  • Coordinate transportation for patients attending activities, ensuring their safe and convenient access to our services.
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies necessary for activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and growth of our Activity Center.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field, with a focus on activity coordination and patient engagement.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including MS Word, MS Excel, and Electronic Health Records.
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
