Job Overview:
Norco, Inc is currently seeking a skilled Cylinder Maintenance (CMF) Technician to join our team. As a CMF Technician, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to the re-qualification, painting, and repair of Norco and customer-owned refillable cylinders. Your duties will include:
  • Loading and unloading trucks or pallets with cylinders to test or with completed cylinders
  • Performing initial visual inspections on cylinders, identifying contents prior to removing labels
  • Shot blasting cylinders and moving them to the next work area
  • Re-qualifying acetylene cylinders according to established procedures
  • Repairing and re-valving cylinders as necessary and according to established procedures
  • Painting cylinders as necessary according to established procedures
  • Adhering to all established procedures, policies, and safety rules
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous knowledge of cylinders and industrial gases is preferred.
