We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audio/Video Producer Intern to join our team at Dow Jones & Company, Inc.
About the Role:The Training Audio/Video Producer Intern will work closely with our Training & Outreach Project Manager and other colleagues to produce engaging and instructive multimedia training content. This includes tutorials for our internal newsroom tools, skills-focused how-to training videos for reporters and editors, and audio conversations that share coverage best practices.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Training & Outreach Project Manager to develop and implement the team's on-demand learning strategy
- Work on video and audio production workflow from start to finish, including recording and editing weekly live webinars
- Develop strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and other video editing software
- Familiarity with filming in a studio environment and ability to shoot, edit, and add graphics quickly
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a service-focused attitude
- Completed at least two years of school towards a Bachelor's Degree
- Experience producing video and audio
- Strong knowledge of video editing software and familiarity with audio programs
- Familiarity with filming in a studio environment
- Ability to understand and visually translate complex topics
- Strong organizational skills with asset management and file storage
