School Nurse Opportunities

U.S. Medical Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to work in school offices near the Lawrence area. You will also dispense prescription medications under physician instructions and document all medications administered to students.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this position include:
  1. Providing professional medical treatment to students
  2. Maintaining accurate clinical records

  6. Providing emergency aid to students and staff
  7. Educating students on hygiene and safety practices
  8. Communicating with parents when necessary

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:
  1. Current NYS Registered Nurse license
  2. NYS Registered Nurse nursing registration
  3. BCLS or ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  4. A valid physical examination within one year
  5. PPD, Chest X-Ray, or QuantiFERON Gold TB blood results
