About the Role

Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics is seeking a skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Audubon, Iowa.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in hospital and emergency medicine, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. This dynamic role offers flexible scheduling, including 24- and 12-hour shifts, with opportunities to work in both hospital and emergency settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the emergency department and hospital setting.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

  • Graduate of an accredited ARNP program.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Unrestricted license in the state of Iowa as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS certifications required within 90 days of hire.
  • Credentialed as a provider with DEA number and prescriptive authority.
  • Prefer a minimum of two years' experience in hospital and/or emergency medicine.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
  • Able to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Electronic Health Records.
