AIT Worldwide Home Delivery is a division of AIT Worldwide Logistics, offering fast and reliable home services for high-end companies sending goods directly to consumers. Our dedicated teams of contractors provide the ultimate level of customer care for the final delivery, assembly, and/or repair of consumer goods.
**Job Type: Contract**
As a Home Delivery Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on various types of delivery and assembly work available in 46 states. You will be offered all types of work and choose what work to accept, requiring a qualified helper. The work involves pick up of items at local retailers, delivery, and assembly in customers' homes. A cargo, sprinter, or smaller box truck is required for this role.
**Responsibilities:**
* Pick up items at local retailers
* Deliver and assemble in customers' homes
* Work with a qualified helper
* Use a cargo, sprinter, or smaller box truck
**Qualifications:**
* Have a sufficient vehicle for the work being performed
* Have an EIN (federal tax ID)
* Own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products
* Comply with vehicle registrations, DOT/med card, and state laws as applicable for the commercial vehicle being used to complete work
* Have good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively
