Position Summary

We are offering a Sign-On Bonus of $2,000 for new hires.

The Senior Automotive Service Technician role requires your extensive experience and technical knowledge to effectively diagnose and repair vehicle systems. You will also utilize your leadership and mentoring abilities to guide a team in enhancing customer satisfaction and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems to meet specifications.
  • Clearly communicate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to customers who may not have a mechanical background.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive technology through ongoing paid training.
  • Assist and mentor fellow technicians in performing technical tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid automobile driver's license at all times, with the ability to operate both customer and company vehicles.
  • A minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or proven skills through third-party certifications.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least five areas (A1-A8, with L1 being one of the five) is required. New hires with equivalent qualifications will have up to two years to comply.
  • Maintain all necessary Federal, State, and Local certifications/licenses as applicable.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
