Job SummaryWe're seeking a reliable and self-motivated Maintenance Technician III to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring our residents have safe and comfortable apartments in good repair. You'll promptly address any concerns that arise and make the necessary repairs. You'll also assist in keeping the grounds neat and free of litter, and perform emergency after-hours maintenance as required.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of appliances, fixtures, and equipment
- Respond to resident requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in maintaining the appearance of the property, including grounds and common areas
- Perform emergency maintenance tasks, including after-hours repairs and responses to resident requests
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records
- Three years of relevant experience in maintenance, construction, home repair, or as a handyman
- Skills in electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
- Sufficient proficiency with technology, including computer software, email systems, and smartphones
- Ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs, occasionally lift up to 75 lbs, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and work in a variety of weather conditions
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to be in the on-call rotation
