We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fleet Operations Assistant to join our team at Hollandia Dairy. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Fleet Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on company-owned vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other preventative maintenance services.
- Equipment Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of fleet equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Telematic Device Management: Install, remove, diagnose, and load apps/programs on telematic devices in trucks.
- Data Entry: Assist with data entry and spreadsheet management for fleet operations.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks on company-owned vehicles and equipment.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized shop area, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
- Driving and Operations: Drive and operate medium and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other equipment as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-3 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Basic speaking, reading, and writing skills in English for paperwork and computer training purposes.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
