Licensed Psychiatric Technician

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to join our team at Nightingale's List. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will provide a basic level of general behavioral and psychiatric nursing care to mentally or developmentally disabled patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily clinical rounds and monitoring of patients with signs and symptoms of mental illness
- Administer medications and treatments, including hypodermic injections, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD)
- Take and chart temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration, and perform other basic general nursing procedures within the scope of licensure
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- 1 year of experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) preferred
- Current and active Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) License
