Job Summary

The Salvation Army Eastern Territory is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Services Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, adhering to federal, state, and local standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day cleanliness of our facilities, including the development and implementation of cleaning checklists and schedules.
  • Supervise and train environmental services associates to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any discrepancies to the Facilities Supervisor.
  • Identify and address any facility problems or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Supervisor to develop and implement strategies to improve facility cleanliness and maintenance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial cleaning industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
  • Working knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools of the trade.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or evenings as required.
  • Must possess an understanding of and an appreciation for The Salvation Army Mission Statement.
