Senior Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team at Leica Biosystems. As a key member of our Service Organization, you will be responsible for supporting the needs of our customers, ensuring the timely resolution of technical issues, and providing exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide installation support, maintenance, modification, and repair of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and refrigeration instruments.
- Offer subject matter expertise on one or more product lines and handle on-site customer escalations.
- Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner, adhering to ISO, FDA, and Leica policies.
- Actively support the sale of service contracts, assist sales representatives and service team members with system configurations and upgrades, and provide feedback on ways to improve financial performance.
- Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years of technical experience or a minimum of 7 years of equivalent technical work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 90% with frequent overnight travel.
- Valid driver's license and meet fleet eligibility requirements.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments.
- Field Service Engineering.
- Networking/IT system upgrades.
