Chemistry Educator

Capital Preparatory Schools is a charter school management organization dedicated to providing a high-quality education to students in grades K-12. Our mission is to create a path for success, where every student has the opportunity to excel academically and socially.

We are seeking a Chemistry Teacher 7-12 to join our team at Capital Preparatory Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching chemistry to students in grades 7-12, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

• Three years of teaching experience (preferred)
• Experience in analyzing data to drive instruction
• Commitment to student engagement and student success
• Bachelor's degree, Graduate degree preferred
• Connecticut certification required
