Job Summary

The Culinary Specialist position at Inspired Living at Ocoee is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling food service operations in the Dining Room. This role requires a high level of quality in meal preparation and service delivery, as well as compliance with special diets offered by the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Director, Restaurant and Hospitality with planning, directing, controlling, communicating, and coaching in the Food Service Department.
  • Follows the Menu Program that meets nutritional requirements, as directed by the Director, Food Service.
  • Responds to resident likes and dislikes, maintaining high resident satisfaction.
  • Maintains food temperatures and time controls during storage, production, and serving according to required food safety standards.
  • Ensures that staff provides a service to maintain good resident experiences during meal times.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in food service required.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in food service preferred.
