We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Rezolut Irvine. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for detecting breast tissue abnormalities through mammographic imaging studies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mammography studies by positioning breasts, adjusting compression mechanisms, and instructing patients to hold their breath.
- Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.
- Maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures.
- Ensure operation of mammography equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
- Document patient mammogram services by completing patient record charting.
- Current BLS certification.
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
- Mammographic Radiologic Technology certified.
- Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment.
- Able to assist in performing DEXA and X-ray exams.
- Strong interest in scientific and technical skills and knowledge.
- Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Able to perform well independently.
- Able to follow detailed instructions.
- Competitive hourly rate of $45-55.
