Small Engine Repair Technician

Job Summary
The Department Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a proper in-stock level of merchandise and providing excellent customer service. This includes assisting customers with finding products, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of small engines and be able to provide expert advice to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store, including the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor merchandise area.
- Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work with management to ensure that preventative maintenance and repairs are completed to maximize and protect all physical assets.
- Participate in store meetings and communicate any merchandising, cost control, or sales ideas to management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a hardware store or similar setting.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb stairs.
Compensation
Starting at $13.00 per hour.
