Telecom HVAC Technician Job Description

At Pearce Services, we're committed to delivering exceptional service and support to our clients. As a Telecom HVAC Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our nation's wireless and wireline telecom infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain commercial cooling systems on cell tower cooling units, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
  • Perform additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment.
  • Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance.
  • Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call-outs while on-call.
  • Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
  • Drive to remote work sites as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3 or more years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Physical/Work Environment:

At Pearce Services, safety is our top priority. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.

Compliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA Regulations.

Must have the ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly.

Must have the ability to be on call and travel for work when needed, especially during busy summer months.

May need to pass a DOT physical.

Compensation:

$30.00/HR to $35.00/HR DOE.
