Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Plant City, FL. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing speech therapy services in both individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
  • Provide speech therapy services in both individual and group settings.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights on speech and language needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Florida license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Passion for helping students reach their full potential.
