Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Permanent CT Technologist to become part of our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic imaging services utilizing computed tomography (CT) and related procedures. This role involves significant patient interaction, so we seek a professional who excels in communication with individuals at various health stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to generate diagnostic images of patients.
  • Ensure patient comfort, explain imaging procedures, and position patients appropriately.
  • Adhere to radiologic safety standards and regulations to maintain patient safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical team members to enhance patient care.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on CT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain precise patient records while upholding confidentiality.
  • Assist in managing patient flow to provide timely services.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and stay informed on advancements in CT technology.

Qualifications:
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current ARRT Certification in Radiography is required.
  • Must be ARRT(CT) eligible or possess a current ARRT(CT) certification.
  • Proficient in operating CT equipment and adaptable to new technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Strong technical aptitude for accurately positioning patients and managing complex machinery.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
