About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Corporal in the Criminal Investigation Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting criminal investigations, gathering evidence, and preparing reports for prosecution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into criminal offenses
  • Collect and preserve physical evidence, including documents, records, and other materials
  • Prepare detailed reports of investigations, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Testify in court as an expert witness, providing testimony and evidence to support prosecution cases
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share information and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting, business, criminal justice, or a related field
  • Experience in law enforcement, including investigative work and testimony in court
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
